Even the Titan is underrated . It’s a little behind in certain things but it’s solid and has a great drivetrain

I like the Frontier the new current form is nice. It's a redesign older truck much like the 3rd gen Tacoma, which isn't a bad thing at all. I'd like to see Nissan show up with an all new design in the not so distant future. Showing Toyota, and the rest of the segment they own the small truck space. If Nissan brings their next generation global pick up to the US, Toyota might have a problem.

Hope the Nissan works great for you! It's a nice looking truck.

I've done a little research on that and I'm considering a catch can, any thoughts? I don't want it to affect the warranty though.
    Thanks

Catch can will certainly help my friend installed one in his new Durango but it’s port injection. He did check it after 1000 miles and it had few tablespoons of oil in it

    It can’t hurt the warranty.

Not unless you neglect to check the fluid level in the can. And then put the truck in a position where it dumps all the oil in the intake at once. And that is not likely to happen. You would have to be on an extreme incline before that happens.

While mine was getting reframed I had a 2019 or 2020 DCSB Frontier rental. Went well though more truck than I need. The dash seemed a little rattley but it was a rental with about 40K already on it so maybe that's why..minor nitpick though.

Enough that I would consider one if in the market to buy another truck but I'd dig deeper into them first.

When i lived in South America everyone had manual Nissan pickups from the 1990s and nobody ever had any problems with them...heck, most ppl down there run 2wd trucks.

I think this one will serve you well for a long time

Buddy of mine has had the new frontier for a couple years now saying it's light years better than his 2019 trd which he referred to it as a lemon. I've ridden in on a couple fishing trips. Its quieter, smoother running truck than his trd was, and far more powerful.

I’m a Toyota guy but Nissan does make good trucks . We’ve had a few and I can tell you they were all good . The only things I can say negative they were always a little more rough around the edges and were terrible making a u turn . But as far as them lasting , they were all good . Just a straight up truck .

I’ve always been a frontier fan. They are just dependable work horses. The new ones look great and they will probably have the last NA engines, which will make them more desirable.

I had 3 '06 (I think) Nissans, 1 '02, all stick shifts. Very good vehicles. Might be my next (last) truck, if this one quits. Toyotas are now too expensive.

I drove a 2000 frontier nearly 20 years until i traded it for my current tacoma, i put 200K on it and only had a few big issues over the years. I would get another over Ford/Chevy/GM if i needed to

    Great looking truck!!!

A buddy of mine wanted a 2G Taco in the early-aughts but opted to build a Frontier instead for cost reasons. Ended up with a rad build (LC LT) but, his only gripe was aftermarket support was very limited compared to Toyota at the time.
