Dealer kept calling me about "the great deals and incentives that had on Tacomas" and to trade mine in. I check and they had 65 in inventory in a city of 500,000. After constant pestering I went in.

Typical dealership, they were nice and so was I. I was expecting no such deals..LOL

They wanted to lowball me on the trade in telling me they could only sell if for so much. I showed them their own website selling the same exact used models for 3K more than what I wanted for trade, so that excuse went away. Then the story of Tacomas sell quick and hard to get, I showed them their 65 in stock all 2017 models with 3 weeks left in the year...LOL

Anyway I told them the only reason I was there is because "they" had great deals and if they couldn't meet my requirements that no hard fellings I already have a Tacoma and I would be on my way.

Well they relented..LOL The whole process was painless, jut shows you have to "play the game" and be ready to walk if you don't like what you want.

So I went from a 2016 SR5 4 cylinder 4X4 Access cab to a 2017 TRD Sport V6 4X4 and am very happy. It also came with a lifetime dealer warranty and their was no up-selling of stuff from finance which was nice.

Congrats! I see you opted for the best color too. Excellent choice.

    nothing cool
If you and the dealership are both happy then it’s definitely a WIN. I think you’ll love the double cab.

Congrats & enjoy! I went to the dealership yesterday to look at 18's & ask some questions. I really don't like dealerships but it was pretty low pressure & got an idea of what my Forrester trade in would be worth which was close to what I was gonna sell it on Craigslist for. I didn't make a deal yesterday but they won my business! My wife works for Toyota financial & I need to get my purchase certificate first before I make my move

I went the other way, from a TRD Offroad dc to an SR access cab 5 speed. Love my basic truck, but congrats on the upgrade!
