Fortunately I paid cash. I had about $27k in the last one and figured it would depreciate a couple or three thousand a year anyway. Between that and the extra cost for 4x4 I deduced the delta I paid was worth it without all the XSP extras that I like anyway. The biggest thing on the 2013 XSP that I didn't like was the decal down the side that this one didn't have. These mods are more subtle IMO. Plus I'm getting a new warranty, Toyocare, etc. Keep in mind I had 20k miles on the last one in 13 months.

As long as you're happy.....that's what matters. IMO going from a PreRunner to a 4X4 is an upgrade.:)

Heh Heh, I knew I would draw some good responses with this thread. People are passionate about their trucks. :) The TRS Sport definitely had a stiffer ride than the XPS - but I like the softer ride since most of my driving is in the city and hauling stuff around. I take it in the field during hunting season, but nothing extreme. XPS is a LOT quieter as well. The TRD was so loud I had to disable my bluetooth since it was picking up so much background noise.

Here is a pic of my other car - just finished restoring it in December. It's a 96 Collector's Edition with a 383 Stroker. It'll haul butt.

Congrats on your purchase. You've got some nice looking rides. 4x4 is always nice to have.

Of all the silly mods people have added, and then to have the gall to hate on the OP's truck. His truck looks a helluva lot nicer than some of the trucks you guys have posted. Hey cheesit, you said it looks awful. That's only your opinion. Same as my opinion that his truck looks a lot nicer than yours, which in my eye, it certainly does.

True, I really liked that color, however the magnetic gray is pretty cool. I love the sparkle to it.

With regard to the fake carbon fiber pieces, the only benefit to real carbon fiber is weight savings which I hardly think a few dash pieces will make a difference. Otherwise it's all appearance. I'd rather have fake that looks real than pay 3x as much for it.

I like it, and you are now rocking a 4x4! How does the leather feel?

If no one had told me it was fake leather, I wouldn't have known. Some will call me crazy, but I had just ordered seat covers for my 2013 and I plan on using them in this vehicle. Doing it mainly for the look - ordered the Kryptek Typhon pattern. Will go nicely with the grey color scheme.

    Here's the pattern:
    http://www.kryptek.com/wp-content/sdaolpu/2011/12/typhon1.jpg

Got the custom seat covers from:
    https://www.headwatersseatcovers.com

If you want high quality custom seat covers, give Paul a call at HeadWater. He used to work for Marathon before starting his company.

I couldn't be happier with my Mossy Oak Breakup covers from Headwaters. They fit great, awesome customer support, and were delivered right on time. That Kryptek Typhoon was one of the other camos I was considering, it's one bad ass pattern. Please post up some pics after they are installed.
