Not a bigger thread, it is a Stiffer Thread. Soft bigger is not as good as stiff smaller.

Im 6'2 and I used to sleep in the back of my crew max while I had 2 fishing poles strapped to the tail gate with bells on them. Rear window cracked so I could hear if I got a bite. I miss those days

If I needed a full size, I wouldn't hesitate to get a Tundra! Reliability rules.......

I would have kept the Tundra forever if it didn't kill me at the gas pump.

Nice truck!! Its funny how people are about gas mileage. Going from say 15mpg to 19mpg does not save you much in the pocket. Usually the additional HP outways the loss in mileage. Now if you go to a 50mpg Prius than yes you will notice a difference.

My CTS-V Caddy gets 14mpg in city and it's not much different than my old 4runner at around 17mpg but 1000 times more enjoyable to drive.

Thanks man! Funny thing with the OVTune, bumper, sliders, winch, and 285’s I was getting about 13.5 mpg on the taco. My Tundra gets almost the exact same if not better mileage.... Granted I didn’t baby either haha

I got about 11-12 in the Tundra. It wasn't a problem until my life took a crazy turn and got a job in a different city. Bought a house out in the country because I couldn't afford something nice in the city so my commute is now 80 miles round trip a day. I could afford another car just on the gas alone to and from work. It made more financial sense to get a Tacoma. Monthly payments are less and gas bill is halved. Total savings is around $250 a month, not huge but I'm not made of money either.

There are a whole lot of butthurt 3rd gen Taco owners in this thread!

Congrats OP! For anyone that doesn't to incredibly tight, technical trails, the Tundra is a vastly superior truck.

I drove a M520 Goer when I was in the Army. When I sat in my buddy's new Tundy I felt like I was sitting in a Goer.

I was just thinking there were a lot of butt-hurt non-Tacoma owners who just can't move on without one last tantrum.
