That's true. Enjoy your truck dude. All that matters is that you're happy with your decision.

Why do we keep comparing the mid-size Tacoma to the full-size F150 ? Is Ford really that shitty ?

Well it is american made....:D LOL

But i do like the looks of the F-150 and its the only domestic truck i like, but only time id actually drive and keep any american truck is if it was given to me, id never waste my money on that. Toyota has served my family well and im sticking to them. Our 2004 toyota sienna has made it all up and down california, grand canyon, hoover dam, las vegas, pennsylvania, new york, washington DC, florida, louisiana , Canada (boy did they get a laugh when they saw texas plates :p), and indiana

When we had our dodge minivan, it broke down about an hour before the texas and Louisiana border.

Personally I made my transition from a f150 4x4 lariat to my 4x4 taco and feel it was the best decision ive made in a loooooong time. This guy obviously feel s that going the other way is the best decision for him. Fords arent bad trucks, dodges are bad. I loved my ford but it was just a little to bulky and a gas hog. I still miss the roomy leather interior from my ford and I never had ANY mechanical problems with it.
Ultimately I love my Tacoma as everyone else on here does but ripping this guy isnt going to make any of you feel better so why make him feel bad about his purchase?
Congrats on your new truck my man. Hope it works out for you and if it doesnt you can always trade it in on a gen 3 Tacoma.

Yeah. If you're comparing base packages, I have no idea. Never been in a base ford.

But the King Ranch and FX4 are some of the nicest interiors you can get in a truck.

    Period.

BS. Looks like Helen Keller designed their interiors.

Unless you talk about functionality, interior is a matter of taste, there is no wrong or right, so I see no point to argue about it.

    just my 2 cents

Did someone wipe crap all over those seats?.... that interior is hideous!......

    Period.

Wow i've never seen the interior of one of those nor would I EVER want my interior to look like that..... that color just looks gross for a leather interior..... you could have made it a light beige or something.....not crap brown.....

Funny how ford is trying to look as good as we do with a body kit.... they just can't pull it off though..... how is this even considered a sport truck?....... This thing has more body roll than a fat people convention..... and less get up and go than a geo metro..... if anything this is a base ford with a body kit on it.... Truck looks nice but I don't see it as a sports truck..... Xrunner over FX2..... All day everyday in every way you look at it...

I'm just waiting for Ford to put the 6.2L from the Raptor into the regular production F150s. I will be getting a F150 supercrew fx4 when they come with the 6.2L

Gotta love Ford interior quality... went for test drive long time ago, I tried t oturn A/C on to check it. Removed my hand and the knob from A/C fell down to the floor. Salesmen was not phased just said hey we will fix this before selling the car.

I owned a Ford before getting a Tacoma. I got used to the phrase "oh it's supposed to make that noise" and "knocking is typical at this mileage (22k)", had to be towed with a bad tranny at 5k. Sold that thing as soon as the warranty was up. Since trading up, my only unscheduled repair were at 100k with exhaust and O2 sensors. I never even used the warranty.
