:D I pronounce it "pry-us". As in please pry us out of this thing with the jaws of life after some one uses it as a speed bump.

Oh and the f-150 is a great truck. No need to hate on other truckers. Unless it's that ugly 2012 Tacoma, lol, just messing.

Interesting thread. I am trying to sell a car so I can buy a Tacoma for a daily driver but I also own a 2002 Ford SD diesel, 4wd, crew cab, long bed, with auto that weighs almost 8,000 pounds. The diesel will average 20 mpg on a trip, 15 around town, and 12 pulling a 9,000 pound boat.
As good as the ecoboost might be it still doesnt top a bone stock 7.3 diesel except in straight line acceration.

Still, if I didnt have to tow I would give it some serious thought to getting one, nice truck.

I think ultimately it depends how much your towing. Diesel will always be the best option and while the Ecoboost is good for 10000+ if you're towing close to that you probably should look at a diesel. Luckily my boat is only around 2000lbs so the Tacoma does just fine.
