There is nothing wrong with the F150 it is bigger and you will be much more comfy in the seat.
They make a crap load of them and seem to be getting it right.

Pretty much, but my neighbor has one with the 5.7L so we'll see how it does. I gotta say, they are nice looking trucks, and the new interiors are fucking pimp. The LongHorn editions are on par with the King Ranch that Ford puts out.

Good luck with the truck. My whole family drives Yotas. Dad's 01 Tundra has 200K and Moms 90 something 4runner has about 245K. My yota has 102K. NO PROBLEMS. Toyotas a damn good brand. Ford should do you some good.

But to answer your first question, yes I'd rock a Cummins 6.7L.

800ft/lbs at 1200rpm? How the fuck could I say no?

Its almost a stereotype to assume FORD is shit. I think its because alot of people beat the shit out of their trucks and dont service them properly. o_O

I would drive the hell out of those new 3.5L EcoBoost F150's. Have you watched the torture tests on their website? It out towed the 5.7L and 5.3L Dodge/Chevy LOL.

    http://www.ford.com/trucks/f150/experiencef150/

Watch it. Thing is a BEAST! Oh, and 17city/23hwy!

edit: Also, I had an F-150 with over 200k miles before my Taco. Didn't have one problem. 01 5.4L

I trust nothing off of a companies PR Brainwashing site. Toyota included. Show me independent tests.

Besides, that eco boosted engine will long destroy itself pulling at it's limit before an NA engine does. Why do you think Toyota's last as long as they do? Simple engine, less shit to go wrong.

I traded a 2010 F-150 for my 2010 Tacoma for the exact opposite reason...

    I'm vertically challenged :D

and, I've always had Chevy & Ford full size trucks...the new one's are effin huge! The new F-150's are like the old F-250's

I am thinking about another full size though...probably a GMC, I like the styling. But he piggy bank has a lot of rattle these days...so it most likely won't happen soon.

but damn...there are killer deals now on full size trucks.

I think he meant trust, not truck.

I don't recall trusting it parse. Looking back I'm more impressed.
