BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
The 2032 Taco may practically drive itself

These trucks aren't coming from Japan. It's either Texas or Mexico.

I'm willing to bet the power seat will be a Pro thing only and Apple car play who gives a rats, if the OP keeps his truck 15 years like he said he would the head unit will be obsolete in six to seven. In the mean while this truck still has the same basic rear axle, frame from 2005.

I'm not sure why people are saying TSS update. I'm sure the firmware has changed and the sensor is more water proof, but when the recall is done on 2018-29 trucks people will have the latest TSS unless TSS-P is coming out, but we should expect more bitching if that happens.

The total cost difference between a 1.9 and 3.9 loan can easily be offset if you mess up and get a bad deal on the truck. I don't see the hype over interest rates. It's not a house. Also, years from now the 17 is going to be the one people think of "before they added the intrusive TSS". My take, you're in a great position now, keep what you've got.

Keep your 2017, it’s the smartest financial move.

If you are dead set on trading for a 2019 be patient. Once the 2020 Tacoma’s start hit dealerships around September you will have better negotiating power, especially in November and December.

I can’t keep track of the configs...i believe op has the 8.75 rear end, as the 3rd gen manual trans do. I don’t recall 2nd gens having that. So that’s a plus.

If I recall correctly they said the power seat was SR5 and above trim levels.
