Yeah the Japanese build decent products. I have had a Seiko watch for 32 years. I even bought a 2nd one awhile back.

My mother in law in Japan has a Seiko wall clock sitting on her wall that's 35+ years old as a wedding gift still going strong. Lol

That's surprising the Land Cruiser isn't available.

Best watch I've owned is a Citizen Ecodrive. Bought it for $120 at Sears in 2008 runs off of any light source, flourescent, whatever. I barely wear it except for show, but just sitting on the desk near a window face up it keeps near perfect time.

All have issues with the dash warning lights that make them look like Christmas trees.....ABS, Stabilitrak Traction Control, etc. This is on Brand new vehicles.........No thanks' no Obama Motors for me! Looked at the Colorado, nice trucks but GM recalls more vehicles than it made in last five years says it all for me!

I haven't noticed it yet so if I do it can't be that bad. What does it sound like?

we have tacoma, tundra, 4runner sequina. thats all. No land cruiser.
and we don't get the TRD Pro line of any of the above.
We don't get anywhere close to the options either. For the new tacoma you can only get the JBL if you buy the limited.
Its not just for toyota. Its the same for many other auto makers.

At 65 - 70 mph and a 35 mph x-wind from passenger side, my doors do sing, but I consider it charm and color, part of trucks 'character'. Im just short of 13k miles and have not noticed any differential whine or howl. What I do notice however, is an incessent desire to drive it. Love this thing.

I thought the seats in my 2016 Sierra Denali were bad at first. But once you get used to them and dial them in, they are great. I also wish the cruise was on the right, but no biggy. I'm used to that now too. It's definitely the quietest truck I've ever been in. The Tacoma is much cheaper feeling than a GMC. And seem to have a lot of problems these days. All trucks can off road just fine if you know how to drive, have good tires, etc, so I don't see why everyone hates everything but a Tacoma. I guess it's Tacomaworld after all.

Umm, it was actually Bush who bailed out the auto companies first, but whatever helps you sleep at night.

This is just my opinion. These guys are right do your research test drive a few. Take your time don't let the truck fever get you . If you decide you like the Tacoma better I would wait until like 2018. By then most of the kinks will hopefully be worked out and you will do better on your trade in.

I don't really care about GM bailout or Ford or FCA political financing ... it is the truck that I like ... and that is Tacoma.
