After lusting for along time after a late first gen Tacoma, I finally had enough $$ for one. So far I love it.
Previous owner had some nice BFG 275/70/16s put on it a little over a year ago and as this will be much more of a "city truck" for me I am thinking something a bit more conservative would be better. Little more forgiving ride and maybe a touch better fuel economy.
How reasonable would it be to expect to get up to half their original price and then leverage that towards a new set. Someone also mentioned to me about checking Toyota dealerships for recent "take off" sets that may be a good deal. Or maybe there is a buy/sell section on this forum and someone not far loves what I have...
    Just a few thoughts.

..ahhh I see the wheels/tires section in the by/sell

I'm not sure where you are located but if you have a Discount Tire/America's Tire store near you, check with them they may be able to give you some trade-in money that makes sense depending on your tires marketability in their area.

Here is a link to the store site where you can search for local stores in your area at the top of the page.

    Hope this helps.
