Nothing out there beats Toyota reliability, NOTHING! My brother in law had a BMW & repair costs were through the roof! He had to get rid of it because he couldn't afford to keep paying the expensive repair bills, I'll take a dependable cheap to fix TOYOTA anyday! If you have money to BURN go ahead & get an expensive car & pay the expensive repair bills, I'm happy with my Tacoma that has been VERY cheap to maintain, & I woudn't hesitate to drive it cross country. I came from the Accord to Tacoma 4x4 double cab. I loved the my accord 5spd manual with all the aftermarket parts I hooked it up with! But When I have a bigger fam, and I saw the Taco and fell in love with it. Accords are nice bro..good luck and enjoy!

Well you can't compare Toyota to BMW. Toyota isn't always reliable and nor is it indefinitely more reliable than comparable manufacturers (heard of Honda?).

Your Tacoma might be cheap, but does that overshadow the piece of shit Tacoma's that have problems left and right? This is 2013, how many modern cars can't drive across country?

My girlfriend's POS towed the largest enclosed UHaul trailer across the US with all of our shit in it and the trailer in 3 days. It had 130k miles on it already (2006) and had almost 5k in repairs in the 2 years prior, not including a recall. It drove back 18 months later.

Be happy with your possessions, but your possessions aren't Jesus.
