Just out of curiosity, I stopped at the Daytona Beach Toyota dealership to get an estimate for a new truck also I was hoping to get a look at the 4th generation style.

I bought this one 7/10/2020 I have 19,500 miles on it. It's my daily driver and it's used as a work truck, (I'm an electrician).
They offered me almost $2K more for my trade-in than I paid for the truck.
I ordered a 2022 long bed. I also ordered the tonneau cover for the back.
    Any thoughts...

Does anyone have the Toyota tonneau cover? Is it just hard plastic?

I have it, and I'm so happy a tree fell it. Now I can get a good tonneau cover, like mx4.

Factory tonneau cover is one tough beast! I bet you could stand on it without hurting it. Removes easily if needed by taking out a single security bolt. Only downside is that it is a bit on the heavy side, but I remove mine by myself all the time.

I have an aftermarket trifold cover. I am 200+ and can stand on it with no problem. Easily removed and the bed extender has room underneath. Look at specs.

The OEM tri fold is a great tonneau, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. The only reason. I don’t have mine anymore is I went with a GFC camper.
great choice in trading your truck in for a longbed.

The toyota tonneau cover has a hard vinyl type coating. Its a pretty hefty cover. I placed a small 60 lb bag of concrete on top of the end of mine the other day till i closed the tailgate. It didn't even sag a bit.
