It was a experiment/project car. I think only a 1000 were made as test run. Everyone that got one was on a type of lease they had to return the vehicle after 10 years or something like that.

Interesting tidbits;

-The Cybertruck is clad in the same stainless steel alloy that SpaceX will use as the skin of its forthcoming Starship spaceship (30x cold rolled ultra hard stainless steel, 3mm thick)
-The stainless steel is grooved on the back side and then bent to the required angle
-The ultra hard alloy can’t be stamped, it will break the stamping machine
-Musk said in a tweet that the “pressurized edition” of the Cybertruck will be the “official truck of Mars.”

 

Naw you just suffer the indignity of being seen in it, but in a fly over state where rust is a problem it won't matter anyways as it will be broken, and in classic Tesla fashion parts are weeks out. It's like living in the 70's with some weird British car in the Midwest.
