Nope. They start at 39,900 for the base model.

The Cybertruck will be offered in three versions, starting with a $39,900 entry-level model that has rear-wheel-drive, a 250-mile per-charge range, 7,500-pound tow rating and a 0-60 mph acceleration time of 6.5 seconds. A $49,900 Dual Motor all-wheel-drive model increases the range to 300 miles, the tow rating to 10,000 pounds and reduces the 0-60 mph time to 4.5 seconds. At the top of the lineup is a $69,900 Tri Motor all-wheel-drive model with twin rear electric motors that can go 500 miles, tow 14,000 pounds, accelerate to 60 mph in 2.9 seconds and cover a quarter-mile in a supercar-quick 10.8 seconds.

I should hope so. Collage degrees are a few steps below Macrame degrees.

An aside for any testosterone-charged plumbers and pipe fitters here:

In Canada, to preserve our delicate artistic identity, in the face of juggernaut USA media hitting us 24/7, the Canadian government mandates a percentage of Canadian content in radio, TV, and (back in the 80’s) music video. While this mostly results is bonafied Canadian artists getting a chance for exposure, the odd super weird shit slips by and becomes a mainstream thing. One of the noteworthy bizarre rarities that became a “hit” at the time was the one-hit-wonder David Wilcox. Someone convinced the Canadian Government to give him an artist grant to produce this song and video celebrating the union plumber who works all day, then “lays his pipe, all night long, to satisfy his woman”.

The social justice warriors would put a stop to this nonsense in 2019, but I am glad the plumbers of Canada got their theme song, and David his ridiculous hit, back in 1987.

“I put the pipe in, then pull it out again”

Agreed, he has a career, but certainly nothing on the scale of “Laying Pipe”. Every time in comes on the radio in our shop, I think to myself “I can’t believe this is happening.......the sensitivity censors must be asleep”.

I don’t exactly know. I think about it a lot. I often wonder if that is always the way, for every generation, or if times are truly screwed up these days.

True. Nothing is ever stationary. Maybe we will all end up driving Cybertrucks to our job at SpaceX.

I can see the base model being used by utility companies and such. A tax incentive would really move them.
