Well, I've had my nautical blue 4 door trd sport for a year now and trading it in tomorrow for a 2013 f150 fx4 with the ecoboost engine. Really going to miss this truck but I want/ need more room for a family of 4.

The dealer isn't giving me what I want for trade in but said I can take my accessories off and is giving me 3 weeks to keep it and sell it on my own.

If anyone is interested or knows someone I am willing to give a screaming deal on my truck. KBB is around 31,00 private party but I will sell for best offer or just let the dealer have it after 3 weeks.

You can see pics on my other posts and ill post pics here to tomorrow hopefully.

It's a 2012 trd sport with upgrade package. 10k miles in flawless condition. Access bed cover, rubber bed mat, skid plate Westin polished aluminum side steps and BFG rugged terrain ( not trail) tires. Just paid registration also so the tabs are good for a full 12 months.

I'm located in Central Ca and willing to work with anyone interested.

Hope you are not planning on driving in the sand much..
I met a guy today who said the torque from the eco boost has the tendency to spin the wheels to much when off roading in sand...
since I use my taco for fishing the beaches..I'm glad I didn't go with the f150 eco boost.

Lol.... It has traction control and everything a tacoma has plus some.

Op you will like the truck and find it to be more useful than your tacoma. Sure the tacoma is a all around nice truck but for some, it just isn't big enough.

I've had my 04 F-150 since 07 with very minimal problems. It has moved our family across the country twice and it has never let me down and still going strong. Check out f150online.com and see what people are saying about the particular truck you are considering (ecoboost). IMO do not expect to get the numbers as stickered but you can get close. My 5.4 gets comparable HWY MPGs as the tacoma but the city is where the tacoma shines.

    Best of luck,
    Nate

    Congrats!!! Hope you enjoy it...

Had a bunch of toy trucks over the years and came out of a new f150 (though not the ecoboost) for this taco last year...I didn't have much luck in the less then 2 years I had it (got it new).

Sounds like he needs to learn how to drive in the sand.... you don't step on the accelerator in 2WD

Have you watched the EcoBoost torture test videos on Youtube? Very, very impressive if they are real. Post pictures when you get it man.

+1. Also Congrats! At the same time I'm sorry for your loss. I almost bought one, but it was to big for me and out of my price range. They are excellent trucks and the Ecoboost engine has proven to be very durable in all condtions. However Turbos are turbos and they are usually the first thing to act up. Good luck with the sale and the new truck.

Good luck with the new truck. F150 is on the very short list if I was getting a new truck.

Please Google Tacoma frame rust, Tacoma melting dtrl lens, Tacoma sticking accelerator, Tacoma intermediate steering shaft, etc...

Every vehicle has its issues and the majority of Tacoma owners as well as ecoboost owners experience none of the issues that get blown up on the internet.

I have a taco and i sell the F150 at a dealership in canada. They are awesome full size trucks. All my clients are very happy. The intercooler condensate there is a fix for that. Eco and v8 are two great options. Congrats.
