So I’ve kinda been on this bronze/brown theme with my truck. 2017 Limited even with the Hickory interior to boot. When I saw that the Trail Edition came with a bronze grill…I had to. I made a few calls to find the part number and once I found it, it was like wayyy cheaper than the Pro grill. I found a dealer in Boulder that had 30 percent off. Shipped was $219. Now I just need to find a bezel..

Kinda weird the Part number on the box and the one stamped on the grill are different.

Looks awesome. I’ve had the same bronze thing going too on my black truck. Was actually going to paint those letters bronze on my grille. Was just looking on Etsy for some tailgate inlays too. Mind sharing the dealer?

I assume you had to buy the sensor cover. That’s the one thing I don’t like about the pro grilles.

That's more than I paid for my factory pro grille lol.. The garnish is what's really expensive though.. OEM is like $300 but looks 10000000x better than the cheap reps.

I really dig this grille though. Would flow great with my bronze TE's. Do they do one with the camera mount?

Yeah I took a chance wasn't sure what it would come with or not. $219 is without the sensor cover. I don't have the active cruise so I'll just have to find a knock off plate or something that can fit in there. I think they make one somewhere that has open slots rather than the black plastic sheet with the fake grill overlay?

Not sure, I can look. What am I looking for?

And when I was googling the OEM Pro grill (PT-228-35180) it was like $400 +

Oh no, I can look if I decide to put a third grille on my truck lol. Got other things to buy first. Thank you though.

Unless prices went up significantly since I got mine.. which they could have.. I only paid like $180 for my pro grille though from Toyota locally. They charge out the ass to ship though if you have to order from a dealer.

One reason is because pre '18 models didn't have TSS. It will still bolt up but technically it's not made for it. You would need a sensor garnish at that point.

Furthermore, according to Toyota, it only came on those 2 models so that's all they would list. Still doesn't mean it won't fit. Will bolt right up to your PRO. JUst would need to transfer the sensor and garnish, and trim piece

Yep and the painted trim piece and all the other stuff. Just got to be careful of breaking the tabs on the new grille
