Does the bumper match up with the wide fenders or is it not wide enough? I have +4 fenders.

Anyone winched on this bumper wondering how it holds up to heavy pulls?

If it's built correctly, the winch "tub" should be very solidly connected to the frame mounts. The surrounding cage of tubing might flex quite a bit if you were to connect to a snatch block and loop back to hook back on to that part; I wouldn't truct most aftermarket bumpers to hold up under that kind of a pull unless you're using an ATV winch (someone in my neighborhood who parks their old jeep on the street has a 5k HF winch mounted onto a YJ with a solid front axle, which always mystifies me).

I have a US Offroad "hidden" winch bumper on the front of my 2010 and the fabricator said that it was built to take 10k on a pull, so if I were to double my 9500# winch, I'd be exceeding that by 90%, I'd expect that's pretty standard for any after-market gear although I don't know of any fabricators who employ (or could afford) analysis engineers to give any kind of a formal "rating" for any of their hardware, and in official terms a proof test only "rates" something for half the applied loading.

I do have the rear tube bumper that the original thread was about and might be able to find a pic of my rig somewhere to show it if anyone is still interested. It's definitely not rivaling any plate bumpers for "fit and finish", but I like it well enough, and it's a far less expensive option for a high clearance rear end. I sometimes wish I hadn't painted it matte black (rattle can bedliner, really) though since it doesn't inspire the kind of deference in freeway traffic that I would expect if it were more highly visible to the other cars who feel some need to cock-block any signaled lane change attempted on the 405.

I don't think I have a pic of my truck handy in a way that I can upload it, but here's the "customer photos" page on the USOR site. My truck is the 4th one down (gray from CA with 6" light pods). I've moved the license plate onto a flip-up mount that hangs over the fairlead since I took this pic, but this one shows the winch mount better.
