Hey everyone new guy here and I have a few questions for the SAS crowd.
I"ve looked at the Trail Gear and Marlin Crawler kits. Both look good. My question is this. Has anyone used a DANA axle instead of the Toyota Style Axle sold with the kit? Just seems like parts are a lot more available (at least in my area) for the DANA axles. Thanks for the help in advance.

Where to begin..... there is tons of info on Dana (44, 1 tons) vs toyota (mini, 80series, TG) vs diamond vs Hybrids

As far as spring kits go, I have had both TG and marlin. Marlins stuff is higher quality. I use them for things like drive-train. Critical parts that have to be the best. TG is great for things like sliders, bumpers, springs, ect. I don't know how far or how much you have researched this, but I suggest you start researching on Pirate4x4 & TTORA. Unfortunately, SASing tacos isn't as easy as the early trucks. I researched for 5 years. I slowly bought parts when good deals came up. I had maybe $3k into parts and only got about half of what was needed. Your best bet might be to just buy the TG kit C and rear suspension. It will be about $8-10k when all said and done if you don't do the work yourself.

I am looking at the Trail gear 3 link SAS swap since it is cheaper than allpros. Did you end up going with trail gear and if so how is it holding up?
