Anyone else feel like the Trail Gear tube bumper isn’t aligned right? I see other pics, like box rocket, and his bumper is almost perfectly flush. Here’s how mine is. Hard to see but it’s slightly tilted forward. Any fix?

You can try to enlarge the holes in the bumper bracket slightly to allow some adjustment.

I don’t have a trail gear but my ARB was crooked and I took my hi-lift and jacked up one side till I liked it and tightened that side then did the other the same to match. Could try to do the same. Loosen all the bolts then jack up the front then tighten them up.

    4 run, 2 don't
Some bumpers have slightly enlarged holes for this reason; you can't make something that's mass produced fit the same on every vehicle.

Maybe your vehicle had an accident that you don't know about either.

Sorry, that's typical TG standard. My brothers was crooked and didn't align up right either

I am sure if you Custom make brackets to move the bumper into the position you want that will solve your problems.

The trouble with enlarging holes to allow movement it will be a constant job of moving the bumper into the position unless you weld things fast .

If you venture out of the mall to the woods

I don’t really beat on my truck but the ARB bumper has definitely seen some hard days and it hasn’t moved at all in the slotted holes. Including pulling a 30’ 24” log out of my way after a tree fell.

Just slightly elongate the two front holes, you don’t even have to do all 4. Then give it a few weld beads a little longer than tack welds. It’ll be strong as fuck but easy to grind out and adjust later on if you have to.

There’s also an optical illusion going on, as I discovered when installing mine. The bottom of the front fenders looks straight but actually curves up, making the bumper look like it’s pointing down more than it really is.

Also, why are you messing around with a dumb Toyota when you’ve got what appears to be a Volvo C303 in the driveway?

I guess it comes down to just how Finicky some people are.

Never open the hood but the tires are perfect white letters touched up every other day

If I owned that C303 I would be doing so much to it! It’s my neighbors, and sadly it just sits in the driveway all day every day. But thanks for the info!
