I have Garmin Nuvi 52lm and I was told that Garmin makes trail head maps or off road maps you can load via SDCard? Anyone heard of this and is it worth it?

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
I am still traditional and carry a good ole paper map of the particular riding area. USFS has good motorized travel maps for your local national forests and are easily accessible. GPS just does not seem that reliable for remote areas where the road is less traveled.
