So I've decided to create this thread as I couldn't find another thread that quite showed what I was looking for. Long story short I bought a set of 5 pro wheels for a very good price. Reason being the previous owner had gotten them stuck in the snow/mud during the texas snowpocalypse of 2021. Before I go into my steps here are the products I used. (You can use a medium grit polish compound for swirls and light scratches in substitute for the glass medic compound I used I just has the bottle already)

Anyways it wasn't nearly as difficult as I had anticipated. This is the condition I picked them up as.

They were pretty rough I thought I was going to have to get them repainted. I started by cleaning them up witha wheel and tire cleaner. Then borrowed a repair polish compound from work (medium/fine grit) and polished them with a drill attachment from maguires. That took most of the scratches down and smoothed it over but they still looked a little light in color.

Next I used the maguires scratchx polish compound that came with the kit I bought. And I was super happy with the results from that.

So this is my progress thus far I think I'll go ahead and hit them with another round of the scratchx polish to get the remainder of the scratches so a level I like then run a very fine polish compound so give them a nice brand new looking gloss. Overall very satisfied with the results and hope anyone who has the same issue find this helpful to make their wheels look good so thay can get back out to crawling through the parking lots of the local malls
