    Hey everyone,
    I was curious as to if anyone is running the Leitner Designs Active Cargo Systems Bed Rack, or any similar, “trail ready” bed rack? If anyone has any recommendations, seeing $1,500 is a good chunk of change, I would be open to suggestions. Please post up pics of your set up and details. Thank you in advance.

    Kbvoodoo makes a neat rack that seems very modular and whatnot

    Pretty much any bed rack is 'trail ready' by that definition.
    Now if you were asking whats a bad rack that'll minimize bed splitting, or something more specific, we could narrow it down.

    I need something that will be able to support a tent, 2 gas cans, 2 shovels, an axe, and corresponding gear. I want something sturdy and something that doesn’t vibrate to hell. Must be able to mount two pod lights in the top rear. I apologize but I have zero idea what he’d splitting is as I am a total noob.

    I have mixed feelings about KBvoodoo. I've heard some nasty things about the quality and they still haven't owned up to everyone that was effected by the powder coat fiasco.

    bed splitting is where prolonged use of racks, toppers, etc with a large amount of weight causes the bedsides to start to bow out. this is minimized by using bed reinforcements or using a rack the ties into the bed mounts.

    Bruteforce fab makes the beefiest one in my opinion given how it mounts. @RelentlessFab has my vote though.

    I second that. I have the KB Voodoo bed rack and absolutely love it.
    Not sure if this is something you’re looking for but hope this helps.

    Thanks!
    I have not seen or heard of a single failure of our rack, I have however seen a recent failure of a Brute force. I like the tie in to the bed/frame, but the BF could use a couple more reinforcements or thicker material. $.02

    @19taco4x4

    Kind of fond of my BAMF rack. Great options for mounting all sorts of stuff.

    I did modify mine slightly and had an extra hoop welded on the back with some additional tabs for lights.

    The one who dies with the most stuff wins.
    How do you like the long bed rack on your short bed? Considering doing the same.
