    that's odd...guess those tires don't like 20psi

a hi-lift is on my to-get list also...i have a hydraulic floor jack that i keep in my truck which would work but hi-lifts seem to make the job much easier on the trail

yeah I had a bottle jack and scissor jack. Both were terrible for using on the trail and required some digging out and moving my truck around.

Some of the earlier pictures are in yazoo city. The first ones and more recent ones are in the desoto national forrest chickasawhay district. the national forest is where I do most of my riding. It's just outside of Laurel, MS. We have a one day ride coming up on the 30th called "the easy ride" kind of like an intro ride to get on the trails and teach folks about tread lightly and different things such as proper winch use, proper hi-lift use, and so on and so on. It's a free ride. Just gotta register on mississippi-mud.com and tell em you're going.

I hear ya man. I'll be honest. The main reason I ride so much is because that forrest is about 20min from my house.

Nice yea if I had something like that around here I would be out there every chance I got. The reserves out here wont let us ride so it sucks for us I understand why they don'e but it would be nice. When do you know of another ride that will be around that area or closer to the La border? Also kinda of subject but do most of the guys who wheel a lot use plate or tube bumpers? I am in the market but don't know what I want yet.

I'm not sure they get closer to la. But if you register, different rides pop up all the time. As far as the bumpers I would say its half and half. Just personal preference. I plan on a plate bumper when I get the money one day.

I haven't been able to find any in Mississippi, but of course I haven't been looking extremely hard. The one the jeep is pulling was actually picked up in Florida.

check craigslist and look around for some of the army auctions and such, you can usually get a decent price on them.

Whoop just registered just waiting for it to be approved. I like the looks of the plates but like the simple look and less weight of the tube.

98_mud_bug I am anxious to see what you have planned.

Yeah, I just don't like seeing the radiator and all with the tube. That's really the only reason I want to go plate.
