    me and a couple buds met up (beg. of the vid) at the Chevron at Santiago Canyon and Jamboree but that is a little ways aways from the trail head, but a good spot to fuel up n all

    If you are coming from up north Cooks may be out of the way. Why not meet at the Ranger station or the church on Silverado canyon?..just make sure everyone is topped off with fuel and goodies.

    if u take chapman might as well meet at the chevron on jamboree then its about 3 or 4 miles to silverado cyn. make left. u will see a church on right and I believe ranger station close to it.
