Trail truck build up

    none yet looking to lift
    Hey guys im looking to build a trail truck i have a 97 taco 2wd 5 lug i would like to lift, 1.5rear 2.5 front i know nothing a bout lift kits if some one could recommend some kits, that would be awesome. im looking to do a suspension lift up front and a add a leaF to the rear but im not sure:confused:

    First of all, welcome to the forum. If you do a quick search you'll find tons of information on lifts, as it is the most common mod for trucks.

    Second, are you sure you want to make a trail rig out of a 2wd truck? I'm sure you'll find that you will want a 4wd very quickly in doing so.

    Unless of course the trails you'll be hitting are desert trails and you want to go fast over whoops and jump your truck and the like, I wouldn't really bother making it a dedicated "trail" truck.

    Look up Total Chaos. They make a sweet Long Travel kit for the 5 lugs.

    X2 Just trade that one in for at least a Prerunner... You'll spend way more money trying to make that a "trail rig"
