I am looking into getting a 4 seat Kawasaki Teryx side by side and would need a trailer to tow it, not looking for anything crazy just an open aluminum trailer, what would a anyone suggest, I don't want to spent a fortune but don't want a piece of junk, is this even possible for about $2,000?

Not today. Last year that would come close to buying what you need.

A 4 seater is a pretty long sbs. You are gonna need at least a 14' trailer with 2 axles. $2k won't get one. Sorry to break it to you.

Thanks, that is what I am seeing as well, I might not be making this purchase until next winter so maybe prices will fall by then, but if not I am willing to dish out a little more money for what I need.

Aluma makes a 7712h tilt trailer, your looking around 3500-4000 though. I know the polaris 4 seater general will fit on a 12’ trailer.

Probably not possible in aluminum. But there's nothing wrong with steel as long as you take care of it.

Good to know, I have no issues with taking care of it was just reading up that aluminum is the way to go for weight savings, but even with a steel trailer and side by side I won't be towing that much weight.

Be sure to check the axle rating on whatever trailer you buy. A lot of cheaper 12-16' single axle trailers use a 1500lb axle which won't cut it for what you need. You should be looking for a 3000-3500lb rating to carry the 1700lb SXS.

I have a aluma 7712HTILT. Getting tongue weight right with a 2 seat rzr is a balancing act. I think a teryx 4 seater would be worse.

I have a Honda Talon 4 seater and had to go with a 14' trailer, tandem axles. It pulls like a dream.

The more and more I look into this I think I may rent a trailer at first when needed, seems aluminum is the way to go and the amount I would use it doesn't make sense to buy, but I will keep looking.

Keep on Craigslist and Facespace in the meantime. I missed out on a nicely setup 14' for 1900 a couple weeks back.
