Trailer weight dumb question

    Long bed
    Trailer weights 1300 lbs and two 4 wheelers so about 2500 lbs of 2014 double cab with towing package. I am not even close to the limit...just wondering how much other weight can put in truck or on trailer Double axel trailer.

    If you have port installed hitch your max is about 3500# for the trailer...if you have full factory tow it is rated at 6400# (with a weight equalizing hitch). Look up your combined weight and deduct the trailer load and you will find the max you can put in the truck. Don't forget to count people as cargo.
