    I bought a used trailer and the wiring harness is all fucked up... It has 4 pin harness.

    I figured the 4 pin plug on my truck has;

    - ground
    - tail lights
    - right turn signal
    - left turn signal

    The ground is connected to a bolt in a trailer so I have 3 wires left on the plug. Trailer has 4 wires. 2 wires go to each tail light. I tried connecting 2 wires to tail light wire coming out of the plug, then one wire from each tail light goes to turn signal wire. Issue is its still doesnt work properly... ugh! Doing all this with trailer connected to the hitch on my truck...

    Any help is appreciated, diagrams would be badass...
