    Even if it is redneck, if done right will look good. And more practical than a "real" trailer. As I said before, bed accessories will be completely swappable between trailer and truck. Which eliminates the need to make custom accessories that are not swappable. There are many cases I wish I had a trailer, but the occasional case I can take a trailer but still want some gear.

    I'm having a custom rack made for my truck that has a quick swap feature on it... 10 week lead time tho :/

    You should probably reinforce the bedsides of if you will have a sheall and rtt. Helps keep the bedside from being pushed out

    That link to expedition portal is pretty cool! Looks like he used bedsides from a 5 lug. Once again this site makes me want something I know I don't need:thumbsup:

    Already on it. I dont mind heavy modifications on the trailer as opposed to my 3rd gen.. hard to ad weight to my main vehicle right now and modify until it paid off. The trailer helps with that alot

    How about a tandem Tacoma bed(s) trailer?
    Take two five foot beds front to front so that the wheel wells are closest together and weld/ glue/ rivet them together. Then build a simple trailer frame and bolt on 4 Timbren Axleless suspension units (infinitely adjustable spacing);

    https://www.etrailer.com/dept-pg-Trailer_Suspension-sf-Cushioned_Suspension.aspx

    10 foot long 'Tacoma bed(s)' tandem trailer with tail gates at both ends, wrap or paint the front tail lights.
    Anyone want to 'photo shop build' one?

    The whole purpose of having a trailer is to haul shit that doesn't fit in the bed. So, no it is not practical LOL

    You can order axles with the same lug pattern as our trucks.

    You can order it to whatever length you want and whatever lug pattern you want from right here https://www.trailerpart.com/

    6inch lift sitting on bilstein coilovers. Lexus is300 studs in front to keep stock wheels, general grabber red letters, nfab front bumper.
    I've been hunting for a long bed at the local junkyards that I can slice in half and rob the back half to make a trailer out of for the dirt bike. Would be nice to put the roof top tent on my truck and use the trailer for the dirt bike and gear. Must be a long bed as I want to be able to close the tailgate. I've only stumbled across short beds. The axle is not the issue. I would run the same rear end. Bearings will last forever unlike normal trailers. Fab up my own tongue and probably use the fuel tank as a dirt bike refuel point by running an auxiliary pump from the tank to a nozzle.

    I’ve been tempted to build a 3rd Gen Tacoma trailer, but scored this Toyota bed trailer cheap for now
    Plan is to sand it down and paint it with white raptor liner to match my 80 series LC. Weld some bed rails since i can’t seem to find a bed rack system for this model & mount my tent
