IMG_1183.jpg IMG_1107.jpgMines been on 35x11.50s since April and I’ve put over 3k miles on it including serious off roading and I have zero rub issues at all. I did remove the factory frame horns and mudflaps to make space. Otherwise the only trimming was a small bit of the front fender liner. Full compression on road or off I’ve not rubbed since.

Re: Vehicle theft. If you open up your Toyota app, on the bottom menu is a FIND icon. Tapping that brings up the vehicle location on a map.

They disabled it 20 minutes after theft. Toyota themselves couldn’t find it or connect. We tried everything imaginable to get it back. Still stings.

@snickers - question on the 35s is whether your truck is heavy on the turbo now. In mine, it I light foot it, I can rely almost exclusively on engine and hybrid with turbo barely being used. I understand that you may not be able to tell given you had the 33s on it for such a short period of time. Also is the ride stiffer on E loads? That was one thing I noticed when going to bigger tires on the 22 — harsher ride.

I was surprised the ride didn't seem to change. Maybe cause it is 75. Lots of sidewall for mo cushion for the pushin. Maybe imagining a touch less responsiveness in sharper turns.

Yeah. Don't really remember how the turbo reacted on 33s. I was still trying to sort out the incoming data and my required output to keep from crashing into things.

I gotta say recently paid more attention that on ECO mode, I expected more sluggishness. I want to play the game now of keeping that boost off. But the tip in throttle response is still too aggressive for my liking. The foot movement has to be so precise. Almost as if it isn't really ECO. Like the truck still wants to go.

Cool. I also just think the OME shocks are superb and soak up any of that E load sidewall stiffness.

I was able to take my son to school and get to work without using turbo / minimal turbo (3 pounds or less) unless I pass folks.

Are you concerned you're going to wear the turbo out early?
Sounds like a good reason for a better turbo :)

I would not be buying a PRO if you are entertaining kids in the backseat, its basically a bench to throw you groceries and bags on with those seats (I sat in one I was offered at MSRP last month), the 4th gen seat design back there already sucks (had my daughters car seat in it when I looked at a TRD Sport) and is slightly worse than the 3rd gen (which is already crap). Honestly if you have TH and PRO money your better off spending it on a fullsize with kids, just my 2 cents.

Zero concern. I like being easy on my drivetrains until I need the power. I like driving that way.

Tell us more please. I have a pro and want to put Nitto 35x12.50's on it, like I had on my jeep. The Nitto's are 13.5" wide. I am afraid they would rub when stuffed.

Remove the safety bracket in both front fenders and it will fit. Minor rubbing sometimes at full turn. You can trip some plastic or run a small spacer
