Trails around Middle Tennessee?

Which weekend are you referring to? What date? I'll be out of town this coming weekend, March 3-5, hitting trails around the Ocoee. If you are referring to the weekend of March 11-12, I may be available though.

 

Pretty sure he was referring to this upcoming sunday.

 

I am talking about this upcoming Sunday, the 5th.

And I was thinking meet up at 9 or 10 for those of y'all that want to go. Whichever time works best for y'all.

 

That'll be a no go for me. I work Saturday night and won't be awake until early afternoon at best. Have fun if you guys head out.

 

If next weekend works better for everyone we can try to do it then. I should at least have my tires by then.

 

I live in Murfreesboro and just recently got a 2016 Tacoma. I've been looking for some people in the area to wheel with. I am free this Sunday if you are still planning to ride Dirt Devil.

 

Warm up weekend at Dirt Devil on March 11-12 to be ready to go at LBL the next weekend?

 

@The Taco Bear I may be able to go next weekend. I don't know about LBL though. At this time my truck has the stock road tires on it. Don't think I would make it far with those.

@VolunteerT4R if you are still planning to go this Sunday, I would be willing to get my taco out and go riding. I have a map out of the route that I recently found online that I can share also.

 

Yeah, Stock tires in LBL is always a good time! I'm running Hankooks Dynapro ATM 265/75/16 at this moment. Going up to 285 here soon. However, I'd go out with Y'all the weekend after that. I want to put my new suspension to a little test before LBL.

 

@The Taco Bear yea, I am not sure I want to mess with those tires at LBL. I have never been up there, but it seems like there is always quite a bit of mud up there from what I have heard. If your hankooks are still decent, I might look into buying them off of you when you go to 285s

Not trying to be bashfull however, I ran the truck completely stock through LBL before with those tires and stock suspension on some 300+ grade Trails and never got stuck once. I went to school out there at Murray so we traveled those trails all the time. The 285's are hopefully going on before LBL though. No sarcasm though do appreciate the insight as well as the safety for others.

 

So it's looking like dirt devil next weekend for a warmup before LBL?

As of right now it's pretty open I think. Just one day next weekend. Saturday works for me

 

Does that mean Saturday the 11th? If so I can probably come out early, then get back in time to sleep before work.

 

Let's do Saturday then and "set it in stone" for those that can come. Maybe start a list of who all can come. Then set a meeting place and time. We met at the shell station just outside liepers fork at 8am last time we rode. Its got plenty of parking on the side. @Bluegrass Taco organized our last trip and it turned out great. I believe there were about 6-7 of us that made the trip. Great almost all day ride.
