Are there any (easy-moderate) trails that are more popular in the winter?

I'm wanting to go solo and find some easily accessible trails this winter, I'm just unsure what's safe this time of year, I'd prefer not to die.

    What hasn't been modified?
Make sure you are prepared to sleep in the truck for a night or two
    OR
Prepared to hike a few miles out to call for help.

as for trails a bunch close in January for a few months. The most common open ones are the gulches and yankee hill that I can think of the top of my head

I went all the way down Mettberry Gulch near Divide, CO last week. Its all snowpack, I am stock height with just some BFG KO2's.

The gulches are snowpacked right now? Did you check out Hackett or Longwater while you were there?
