ya I figured Sudbury or Thunder Bay even North Bay is a hike. I’d almost rather do a weekend and go to Quebec or Vermont

VMUTS is worth the drive. I’m up in North Bay every long weekend (have fam up there). Some good dudes from there who know the areas well.
Sudbury I’m not too familiar with, but there are trails around Wanapitei/Wolf Mountain.
No idea about Thunder Bay, was born and raised there but moved away a lifetime ago.

    Princess Auto on Leslie area.

Durham/north Cumberland has some nice short and sweet trails, there's lots of gravel roads and some unassumed roads out here.

Join of4wd and you can check out the trail maps, ihunter is also a useful app to show you unopened roads.

There are a few trails/ road allowances around Orangeville. But the good stuff starts around Bobcaygeon and Bancroft and Ardbeg. Trails as easy or hard as you want. Join the OF4WD to view their online trail map.

my buddy is from NB he goes up to see his Dad but would never off road in his Volvo lol

I’ve never been to NB I’m from Montreal which has way more mountains and hills than Ontario and Vermont and the Adirondacks are only an hour or so away. May need to head back with the Taco one day check it out

I spent some years in Cornwall lol
Montreal is one of my favourite cities, still have a few friends out that way (and Gatineau). QC is a beautiful province.

Shoot me a PM if you ever just wanna go for a coffee and a rip. Lots of nice driving roads around these here parts.

@ODSC1 - thinking of setting up another Orangeville run anytime soon? I’d totally be in.

I'll definitely do another Orangeville run. Minus the snow this time. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

Im in barrie, Theres some trails just outside of barrie and north of barrie. Lots of unassumed roads, some get gnarly. But can make a half day of it. It all depends what your looking for also join of4wd with the club for trails. I use Google maps, BMRP, Gaia app sometimes.

I was down 1st line last weekend on the bike, and was quite surprised how dry it was. I was expecting lots of mud and some snow deeper in the trees, but was pretty dry overall.
