I feel I need to put a train horn in my tacoma 2016. I have a 4 cylinder which has left a lot of room under the hood. Has any one put a air horn or train horn in their truck? Maybe if some one can post a few picks to help me to install and pick out the best one for my truck . ONe Short THAnks

Have you ever heard a legit train horn on a truck? I have and it's insane. Several years ago people started doing it as a goof. A legit train horn is so loud that it will pulse through your body when someone blows it 1/4 mile away.

To accomplish this you need a huge bed mounted compressor and tank set up as well as real, huge metal train horns $$$$$$

Now a days companies are selling "train horn" kits which are cheaper, smaller and plastic. They're kinda loud but nothing like the real deal

@oneshort you will very soon have all the nay-sayers in here telling you why you're wrong, why your family shouldn't be allowed to breed & how big of a dick you are. This from many of the same people blasting their HID/LED conversions at oncoming traffic, or maybe their 5 gigawatt subwoofers, or perhaps their chopped exhaust. Be ready, it's coming. But until then, I went the easier route & got the Stebel Nautilus https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00CMX20H4/ref=yo_ii_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It's small enough to mount in the existing threaded holes along the driver fender, and combined with the 2 stock horns it sounds like 4 or 5 cars honkin under my hood.

I like the train horns, but cost & size kept me from doing it. Don't worry though, the holier than thou's are on their way to tell you why you're living your life wrong.

I thought you were going to trade-in your Tacoma for a Honda Odyssey o_O

Should put a train horn on that.
