First of all, the technical term is whistle. Don't ask.

    Second of all, hell yes.

    I don't have a train horn for the same reason I don't have a straight pipe - because I'm not a moron.

Some people have found out just honking a normal horn can result in gunfire being returned as the answer.

An absolutely, ginormous, tub of lard on legs. We aren't just talking about your slightly obese English teacher here we're talking about those people whose appearance is more than physically disgusting. Usually at 5 feet tall maybe an inch or two larger and over two hundred pounds of "curves" they are usually seen at Walmart scarfingdown food and driving around on scooters made for handicapped people. They love to troll the fresh produce section for random person to call anorexic. Prepare yourself for bad grammar, insults, and "curves" if you ever encounter one.

careful, word is the state is really starting to crack down. I had my front screen tinted 3/4 of an inch past the as1 line, no one would touch it. The auditors are making the rounds.

obviously the bigger population centers first.

    I drive a Miata.
I got hit in my younger (and dumber) days, and it was exactly for 5% tint all the way around. Many years ago I was travelling home on college break, somewhere on the interstate west of Abilene. Having already snagged a speeding ticket a few hours prior I was doing my best to follow the traffic law for the rest of that day. A state trooper goes cruising by in the left lane, I see his partner eyeballing my shitbox of a car as they pass by, all of a sudden they are on my rear bumper and pulling me over, strictly for the window tint. (That, and young kids with shitbox cars way out in the country are probably ripe pickings for vehicular searches.)

While I'm receiving my second ticket of the day I make the stupid mistake of letting out a bit of attitude. First and last time I ever gave a cop attitude. That trooper let loose an ever so slight smirk as he informed me that the car was too dangerous to drive equipped like that. Either peel off the tint right here right now, or he was going to have to remove it from his highway via tow truck.

When I finally made it home, my grandads reaction to that story was "You deserved every bit of it, son. Maybe next time you wont gussy up your car like a dumbass."

So, lesson learned for me at least. Skirting the regs just to look cool isnt worth it.

It'd be fun to put one in a small car like a Corolla. No one expects such an ear-splitting blast from what is maybe the most forgettable car on the road.
