Tranmission update- Shift Feeling Enhancement / computer fried

I took my 2016 Tacoma built 5/16 A/T in for 5000 mile free service today and had them check tran oil level. Which was not low. I asked them to update the computer with the July 14 /16 revised software to address any tranmission issues. They called and told me during the upload my main computer fried. I was extremely mad !!!! Has anyone had this update done on the computer. Just wondering if the newly revised update software for the computer is faulty?

Lots of folks over here, seems folks are happy with it. Sorry to hear about the computer. I guess push for a free extended warranty?
