So I noticed this morning that my tranny every once in a while will make a clunking hard hitting noise when it shifts into od. I also noticed that if I'm running down the road and put it in neutral and back in gear it makes the same noise. Anyone had this problem before?

Feels kinda like axle wrap when it shifts but it also feels like it kinda hangs up in the gear then finally shifts.

    Any ideas?

I think this afternoon I will change my fluid and see if that helps.
And does anyone know if these trucks have a tranny filter on them? It's got 220k on it and the filters never been changed if it has one but ive heard it has one and I've heard it
    Doesn't?!

    Thanks
