I have some internal problem with my tranny, I have replaced all the easy stuff clutch, flywheel, rear main seal, input shaft barring and some other barring. And that did not fix my problem so now I am down to getting another one and need to know what trannys will fit. I have a extended cab 2.7L 4x4. I have read that the 2.4L 4x4 will fit but I don't know if it has to be extended cab or not. Thanks for the help.

Is it an r150f? Yeah 4cyl should fit, v6 won't though, different spline count to the transfer case. I don't think it mattersif it's an extra cab or not
