I'm new to this TSB stuff. I saw a thread on here on Transmission TSB. Here's the link http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2nd-gen-tacomas/59535-transmission-tsb.html. TSB#0373-09 and here's the link to that tsb pdf file http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/at...s/41953d1259530256-transmission-tsb-37391.jpg. Its suppose to be for 2009 tacomas. Mine's an 05 and i feel like i have that problem. It shift rough when accelerating from 1-2 gear and when coasting between 20mph.I have automatic transmission btw. So my ?'s are will this apply to 05 tacomas? mines the trd sport v6 dc prerunner. How do I address toyota about this? do they fix free of charge? i believe i'm still under warranty. Does anyone have the same problem? did anyone get the problem resolved? does it shift smoothly now? buddy 05 Frontier crew cab le shifts like butter. I hate nissan so i hope toyota can correct the transmission issues. hopefully my will shift like butter with minimal notice of the shift points. Thanks in advance for any help.

So will there be a transmission tsb out for 05's? I hope so. The transmission is so frustrating. Great Truck but transmission issues.

Are you still under the original 3/36 warranty? If not, it won't apply to you unless a dealership decided to do it out of the goodness of their hearts.

I read the whole Transmission TSB thread and heard so many good results. Everyone is saying it only took about 90 mins to do some programming to the ECM. I wonder if they would even perform the work if i'm out of warranty and willing to pay what to charge to program it.
