Mine is a May 2019 built OR. I feel it still has all the problems people complain about. How did you check to see if yours had the updates done?

I’ve seen a guy that is on par with that guy running around town on a few different occasions. I think they’re doing it wrong...

When I had my first service done I asked them if it was caught up on all the updates and they checked.

10-4. I was hoping there was a way to check without having to take it to the dealer... I despise going to any dealer for service.

*sigh*. Ok, you want to keep going I guess. So, I thought I remembered a thread you created on MPG. I searched, and alas, I was right. I remembered it because it turned into a shit show. About page 9 it turns out. You know, the one where you swear that is wasn't driving 80 and in hills that caused the gas mileage issue and started attacking people like you are doing here. Where you didn't seem to grasp that drag resistance increases exponentially with speed. So from that thread your info read:
    • 2018 V6 4wd DC Off Road (all stock) with 14K
    • Round trip from Fla to DC
    • Average speed 80mph
    • TSB-0058-18 applied 3 months ago
    • Average 20mpg with local driving

Note that you were GETTING 20 MPG. What the hell do you not get, or you intentionally being dense? I was at maybe 15 before the update. Do you see where this is going? My mileage was abnormally low compared to many, including the mpg that you posted. Since my shifting has improved (and it has), so has my mpg. Note that there are more in this very same thread that have seen the same. In recap, I don't think you need Jesus here as much as a physics book and maybe better reading comprehension.

depending on my route I get 15 16. however, i have a honda pilot and that same route gets 16 -17 mpg.

If I change my route, tacoma gets 17 - 18, and honda pilot gets 23.

Just sayin. At least some people take pride in what they do. I admire that no matter how you get down.

Agreed. Hills, drag resistance, and traffic be real thangs. However, I have to drive the same boring ass route every day. For some reason there is a large area with no cross roads that leaves me with one route unless I go way around. Gets old. It does change a bit, but at the end of the week, the total is back on average.

Have to ask. They won't apply TSBs unless you have an issue that they address. Not the same as recalls.
