trans wont shift and turn signals wont work and gear lights wont work

i was the drove to the gas station put my truck in park didnt not turn off and randomly the gear lights wernt on and truck would not shit out of park i disconnected the battery and removed the trans/turn signals fuse from the engine bay fuse box any help, but i was able to drive home from the gas station cause i hit the emergency release button

 

i told him on phone it maybe a sensor or accouter.

Most likely you have a blown stop light fuse. Check that. Also any aftermarket wiring you might have tapped into that circuit. Campershell, trailer wiring, etc.

Check the IG1 Fuse.

just left autozone its my transmission range sensor ya but i cant find a vid or anwser to where its located

 

I believe it's on the side of the transmission. I have a manual trans, so can't go look at mine. Make sure you've checked all the fuses though! Just because the computer doesn't get a signal from that sensor, doesn't mean the sensor is bad. It could be a fuse, a pinched wire, etc.

 

he found out. it was some fuse.

 

ok. so hunter.(OP) is having the same problem agin. he switched back to OEM tail lights 3 maybe 4 weeks ago. he had some LED’s but one broke so he put the oem back in.

also for some reason he can’t log in, so he asked me to post this.
