Maybe one of you guys can help me. On my transfer case actuator if I pull the little triangle piece off the top I have oil in there. Is there supposed to be oil in that part of the actuator? Thanks!

If you are talking about the piece that is held on by 3 screws? No.

    Oil? No.
Grease, Yes. Grease should be on the gear.

If your talking about behind the plastic cover with the contact plate no there should be no oil only some grease.
If your talking about the little metal triangle plate yes there will be oil behind that.

Yes I’m talking about the small piece held on with 3 screws. But Im positive I don’t have any oil on the contact plate as there’s no oil coming out the small breather. Thanks for the replies, I’ll have to get some gasket sealer because the small plate is leaking oil
