Redline is now making an oil for this... Redline MT-LV 70W/75W.

Suitable replacement for "Toyota/Lexus transfer case fluid "Genuine Gear Oil LF 75W“ 08885-81080"

The only thing that makes me wonder is that their Product Data Sheet says it's recommended as a replacement for "Toyota Transmission Gear Oil LV 08885-81001". It doesn't mention the LF on the data sheet. I'm not sure what the difference is, but maybe it's only "suitable" for LF...

Learn from my mistake. Stick with the LF fluid if you live in a cold climate.

I personally use the Toyota liquid gold. You only need 1 can.

So has anyone tried Red Line MT-LV yet...it appears that Ravenol 75w is hard to find.

Has anyone tried the Smurf Blood from redline? Super low friction with super high wear protection. I’m thinking of giving it a shot.
