    It pays to look under your truck every now and then. Got under mine to grease the zerks this afternoon and found a transfer case leak on my 2010 Tacoma. Hope the dealer gives me no problems.

    Wash it up real nice just so they don't say you abused it offroad. Also I might be thinking of the timing belt cover, but I know there is a tsb for an oil leak.

    back to bone stock.
    ooze from your TC smells nothing like anything that can come from your motor.

    i was at 56000 miles and my TC seal went bad. they apologized and attacked the leak with authority. no issues, and i picked the truck up 5 hours later..with another apology.

    i do not expect you to have any issues.

    Glad to hear. I basically use this truck down at the deer lease in 4x4. Lots of mud but no serious off roading. 5 hours repair would be great.
