Hey TW, Im new to the forum so go easy on me . Im a little bit of a do-it-yourselfer but not a mechanic by a long shot. I have an 03 SR5 4wd AT with the 4wd selector switch. I have a leak at the transfer case that looks like its coming out from the shift lever. When the dust cover was removed fluid poured out all over. Is it possibel to have a leak at the shaft, and what exactly do I repair/replace? The dealership said I need to replace the shaft assembly, does that sound right? Its almost $300 from them so any other thoughts on where to order? Thx all.
