Hey TW. Can anyone recommend a good overhaul/rebuild kit for the transfer case of my 1st gen taco? 6 cyl manual transmission with J shifter (no 4WD button).

The reason for the rebuild/overhaul is the case is leaking oil*, so I'd like to replace the seals and would prefer to buy a kit than figuring out individual part nos. My searching of the internets has come up dry.

    Thanks in advance!

*the entire case is drenched in oil top to bottom, I suspect that at a minimum the gasket at the shift lever is bad. I have no idea which other seal(s) may be bad as well.

Those transfer cases are pretty bullet proof .

    I can`t recall ever seeing a Kit .

I know what I would do is talk to my local shop that rebuilds those goodies I had my butt saved a few times it might cost more but you get quality parts .

Buckets of good used parts when a new gear would need to be custom cut$$$

Contact Trevor or Ryan at Marlin Crawler. The MC kit has better seals than the OEM units.
    Good luck.
