Nothing fancy, yet. Weathertech mats front/back + their mud guards, some reflective striping and custom carpets on the storage bin lids underneath the jump seats.
Mine is a 2wd V6 with the towing package & was 3/4 qt. low.

There are approx 15 two wheel drive trucks reporting at TW that they also had low fluid .
The tow package is also available for the 2 wheel drive

Right, I see that. I am simply stating it appears like its 150 4x4 and 15 2wd (not exact number I know, just roughly speaking) So the percentage is extremely high on the 4x4 side, I wonder why that it is greater? Maybe most of the 2wd guys either aren't experience issues or not recognizing them? Are the erratic shifts amplified by 4x4 you think?

2WD with tow package here. Mine does it.

I have to add....someone clarified that when they shift from R to D, the truck actually does move forward slowly. Then..BAM...into D. This is exactly right....My brain didn't recognize that there is some kind of forward engagement prior to grabbing the actual D. No idea if that is significant.

So to clarify, you guys are having issues mainly when you do a cold/overnight startup? When you go from R to D, there is a delay and boom it goes into gear yes?

Pretty much...after dropping into D, the truck moves forward VERY slowly. If you depress the accellerator, the reves come up for a second or two, without any change to the forward motion. Then BANG the gear engages and off you go. BANG, because the revs are up.

It's almost exactly like doing a neutral drop.

The same thing happens....for both cases only when it has sat for a long while.

I say this to distinguish from being "cold", since it may be related to something else (like the torque converter draining out over time or something). I dont want to bias the thought process with the assumption that it is somehow temperature related.

Dealer checked and added 0.8Q. I marked the drain and fill plugs, both were disturbed.

BUT...who knows. I got it on record with Corporate that I am still experiencing the issue. Maybe they will check again at the 5k?

OK, good for you... Hope no damage has been done. Maybe there is something to this idea that the "puter" needs an update of software...?
OH, 1 other thing... I wonder if they "reset" the tranny's memory, or whatever it's called after the fill-up..? I'm no expert but have read that it should be done ..

yup . Adaptive learning should be reset .
There is no way the trans will learn your driving habits properly with low fluid .
Trans will shift like crap to be honest

Yeah...they do have stuff for the A750 and AB60, though. I'm sure, eventually...
I happened onto that, researching PR valves and the importance of keeping them in a " in balance" condition most of the time.
I think I learned more than I wanted to know...lol.

Got the new TSB done today since truck was already at dealer. It seems to have worked!! Also I finally got Corporate to approve the 8yr/125k mile Platinum warranty free after my case was elevated... Tranny was almost two quarts low in my case. So thats some peace of mind and they seemed eager to make things right, Finally??
