    Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
    My rule of thumb of the transmission comes out a New Clutch goes in that is just me . Always exceptions on how often the transmission comes out in a month

    I have had good luck with Aisin, Luk and Marlin Crawler clutch kits any more always look real careful and compare the parts coming out with the new ones .
    Clutch life seems to be clutch use I have seen poor driver takeout the best clutch in only a few hundred miles

    The better clutches recover from being Hot then the cheap ones

    I got the tranny separated. I am thinking it is ready to pull. I don't see anything else connected.
    I sure wish they had made that back tranny cross member removable. Trying to thread that back part up into the cross member is going to be a challenge. (like threading a 800lb needle) I am thinking I will need some help. Some of you guys who have done this, particularly with a 2.4, how did you do it, and why? The choice is to join them before the engine is installed, or after. Do it up under the truck. It would seem to me that with engine and tranny joined before lowering it, besides all that dead weight, I would have to lower a few inches, then advance the truck forward a few inches. Repeat. Repeat.
    But to try to join under the truck would also be bit@h. Most of my experience was with Ford, GM product, and one Datson 1200. Like my taco today, the tranny and bell housing were one piece. The last one I did was in the early 80's. I was younger and much stronger

    Parts are cheap enough to replace all. Since its not your daily I'd have the flywheel resurfaced and get an entire clutch kit. Definitely do the rear main while you're in there too.

    I went with Aisin for my clutch kit. Thats what most guys on here would recommend. I think my kit was like $200. Somewhere around that. Very happy with the results.
