    I have a Toyota Tacoma 1996 and has a manual transmission.I am replacing the transmission fluid but I don't know how many quarts do I need to replace my transmission fluid? The engine size is 3.4L

    used to have - 99 2.4L I4 5 lug & 04 prerunner v6
    depends if you are flushing and replacing it all or just swapping whats in the pan. have double that amount on hand if you are replacing it all by flushing or after a rebuild because the torque converter and lines all must be refilled and purged of air, unlike when doing a normal oil change
