Getting ready to go on vacation trying to get all the fluids changed differentials, tranny fluid but rather than go to the steelership for the flush and fill which is upwards $400 I guess obviously I don't have the tools for the so-called backwards flush on the tranny fluid but can I change the pan fluid a couple of times and would that help out or find a reputable repair shop that won't take all of my cha-ching and get the required total flush and fill

Backwards flush? I’m not sure what you mean, if you have the tools to do a drain and fill, you have all the tools you need to do a full flush. See this thread for the details. May as well replace the pan filter, gasket, and clean magnets too while by you’re at it. It’s not a difficult job, just time consuming.
You’re better off doing this type of work yourself, that way you know it was done right, all the old fluid out and only new fluid in, and it’s at the correct level too. Also I would stick with Toyota brand transmission fluid.

Okay I think what was referred to me was not being able to get the extra quarts out of the torque converter and it was described to me that when they do the backwards flush it somehow cleans a lot of the internals but I think I need to investigate it a little further that may mean a sealed transmission without a dipstick for the refill but I believe mine does have the dipstick and they did mention it is critical to get the exact amount back in and something about the temperature when it's done makes a difference. I believe mine's a five-speed automatic

Wait until AFTER your trip to do any major transmission maintenance like this. If you have a transmission issue that is being hidden by dirty fluid, you will find out at the worst possible time.

Good advice above. I'll add that if you're going to go through the trouble, you might consider dropping the pan, cleaning the magnets, and replacing the screen (filter).

Thanks I thought about that and then I thought well it's getting ready to hit 100,000 so it's the proper time before I go on a long trip I'll be doing some pulling not a whole whole lot of weight but enough to work it a little bit so not a huge deal I will contemplate on that
